About this project
KW Brickwork Contractors Ltd is a bricklaying contractor in Welshpool, Powys, led by Kris Williams. Most of the work is subcontract brickwork for housebuilders, developers and main contractors, which makes the visitor a site manager or a developer rather than a homeowner. That changes what the website has to do: it is not selling a service so much as proving a standard of work and the qualifications behind it.
So the site leads with the work. The gallery holds 75 photographs, every one of them the company's own job, filterable by new-build, work in progress, completed plots, detail work, blockwork, and commercial and public-sector buildings, so somebody who needs one particular kind of work can go straight to it. The projects section then follows individual jobs through their photos, from early lifts to finished brickwork. It deliberately does not name developers, main contractors or sites without their permission, and says so on the page, which a contractor reads as the way their own job would be handled.
The qualifications page does the quiet selling. It publishes the NOCN Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations with its qualification number, the awarding body, the date awarded and a link to the Ofqual register, so the claim can be checked rather than taken on trust. Trade credentials are easy to assert and rarely evidenced, and publishing the number is a plain way to be the contractor who evidences them.
Seven services are set out separately, from new-build housing and apartment blocks through commercial, industrial and large-scale work to engineered retaining walls and general brickwork, each with what is included, typical projects, the areas covered and its own questions answered.
Enquiries are built around WhatsApp, because that is how site work actually gets arranged: a photograph, a drawing and a date. WhatsApp and call buttons sit in the hero, a WhatsApp button follows the visitor down every page, and "Get a Quote" opens WhatsApp with the details already filled in rather than dropping somebody into a form.
There is also a blog written by Kris himself on practical brickwork subjects, which names its sources wherever it mentions regulations or standards.
